Admissions
Thank you for looking at our website and considering our school for your child. Much Woolton is a great school in which children enjoy their learning and thrive. They thrive because we put in front of them a wealth of learning opportunities throughout and beyond our school day. We develop their interests through an exciting and interesting curriculum delivered by excellent teachers and support staff who seek to meet children’s individual needs and interests.
You can read our Admissions policy for 2025-26 here.
All families applying must apply both to Liverpool City Council and by also completing our supplementary faith form, found here.
Please return the Supplementary Faith form either in person or via email, with a copy of either the baptismal certificate or evidence from a faith minister.
All emails regarding admissions should be sent to admissions@muchwoolton.co.uk.
Our school is popular and over subscribed each year and are often filled in children from categories 1-4. We strongly advise all applicants that their child be baptised before the Local Authority deadline (January each year- see note C, page 2 of our Admissions policy) and have their full supplementary faith form, supporting documents and Local Authority application all completed and submitted before this deadline.
If you are unsure which parish you live in, please enter your postcode at the following website: https://rcaol-schools-finder.cocreatedev.co.uk/
We also advise that applicants keep receipts for their documentation from school and the Local Authority in a safe place in the event of appeals. Do not leave documentation at school without receiving a signed receipt for this from our admissions team.
We also seek to discover and nurture children’s talents with a wide range of extra curricular opportunities involving the arts, music and sport. If that were not enough, our Junior aged children currently have the opportunity to attend up to 5 residential visits in these years, including a weeks ski course in the Italian Alps!
We would encourage all families considering our school for their child to visit the school as soon as we are able to host visitors.
Families wishing to move their child ‘in year’ from another school are asked to call our school office and enquire about availability of places first before making an appointment to tour the school with a member of senior staff.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
