Information for Parents
Parents as Partners
Children spend approximately a third of the working week in school, the rest of the time being spent with family. It is therefore crucial that school and parents work together for the benefit of children. Parents rightly have high expectations of school and school also needs the full support of parents in supporting learning, through ensuring completion of homework, daily reading, discussions and talking with children as well as ensuring that children benefit from plenty of rest and fun, engaging activities.
Parents and families are always welcome to visit school, during our weekly assemblies, termly open days and parent meetings, by appointment with class teachers, or simply catching them at the end of the day.
Parents are also welcome to volunteer in our school by enrolling as a volunteer and completing safeguarding checks, training and induction. Should you wish to volunteer in our school please contact Mrs Regan.
School Nurse
Our School Nurse, Lyndsey Ellam, will be holding drop in sessions for parents on the last Wednesday of each month, following Christmas.
