Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
Much Woolton Catholic Primary School is a highly inclusive school. Our staff work hard to ensure that all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), have their needs met through high quality, adaptive teaching, effective interventions and targeted support. Below is the information we are required to publish regarding how we approach this area of our school as a well as a link to our FAQ page.
Miss S Preston is our SENCo and she can be contacted via the school office at office@muchwoolton.co.uk
If you have any questions or concerns regarding SEND provision, please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance, who will then inform the SENCo if required.
Please read our SEND policy here.

Liverpool’s SEND Graduated Approach pilot scheme
Earlier this year, our school elected to take part in the SEND Graduated Approach Toolkit pilot scheme. This initiative aimed to enhance the support we provide for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that all pupils receive the best possible opportunities to thrive.
To help you understand what this pilot scheme involved, please watch the video below. The SEND Graduated Approach Toolkit has now been finalised and is available on the Local Offer page (link above).
